We understand and appreciate that it is a rare privilege to be a funeral director, to hold such a trusted position at such a crucial and sensitive time, knowing that our experience and the quality of our service and reputation will help you through one of life’s most difficult times.

At Coppings we are proud to serve our local community and to offer a complete range of services in all aspects of funeral directing. We offer a dedicated, caring professional service to our clients, twenty-four hours a day. We have well established relationships with local clergy, doctors, solicitors, local authorities and traders - a network of professional people that we can call upon to help you through your time of bereavement. We offer estimates and professional advice without obligation.

As professionals we adhere to a strict code of practice and are members of the National Association of Funeral Directors, the British Association of Funeral Directors and are members of the Society of Independent Funeral Directors.

At our new premises in Poringland we have a reception area, and a private lounge in which funeral arrangements can be discussed. If preferred, we can also visit you at your own home to make the arrangements. The premises also feature two Chapel of Rests (one traditional and one non-religious) where relatives may pay their respects and spend time with their loved ones.
We can take care of the design and printing of service sheets and the placing of newspaper notices.

CATERING - We are happy to advise on and assist with local catering facilities and hospitality as required.
