We will be pleased to advise you on the purchase of permanent memorials and head stones. The choice of the memorial, its material and design are governed by the regulations which apply to the churchyard or cemetery in which it is to be placed. We recommend Abbey Memorials of South Burlingham.
People sometimes prefer to give a donation to a local charity or organisation in memory of a loved one. Often they may have expressed a wish that donations be given in lieu of flowers. At R. B. Coppings we maintain a donations account in which the donations are deposited. All monies received are recorded. A list of all known donors is sent to the next of kin. Donations are forwarded to the nominated charity or organisation who we ask to acknowledge their receipt to the family. We provide this service free of charge.
At the time of making the funeral arrangements, it is not always easy to realise the emotional benefit that is gained after the funeral by having a place to go back to knowing that a loved one is there. Today most churchyards and cemeteries have a separate area solely for cremated remains. Most of these allow you to mark the grave with a small headstone, tablet or vase. We are happy to advise on how to make the necessary arrangements.
